Ineos Grenadier

Chemical firm Ineos has reportedly thrown its hat into the ring to build an off-roader inspired by the original Defender. Known as the Grenadier, the project is spearheaded by Britain’s richest man Jim Ratcliffe and will start production in 2020.

The Grenadier will be based on a re-engineered Defender 110 chassis that has been converted to a chassis cab with a range of upgrades to improve performance and off-road capabilities. It will feature a Warn winch, 6-point roll cage and a bespoke Land Rover Defender 90 front bumper, along with 18″ Kahn 1983 wheels wrapped in BF Goodrich all-terrain tires.
